Solid waste management (SWM) in Ethiopian cities is a significant public health, economic, and environmental issue, with access to suitable disposal locations becoming challenging due social, environmental, technical factors. This study aims propose landfill sites for Debrebirhan Town's solid using an integrated survey mechanism, including geographical information system, remote sensing, analytical hierarchy process (AHP), address limiting Economic, data were used the site selection. Satellite images processed by ERDAS IMAGINE Software, ArcGIS software was identify map potential sites. The suitability produced combined effect of weights criteria factor maps. result summarized four levels labeled as highly (23%), moderately (51.75%), less (0.25%), unsuitable (25%). most found three west, north-west, north directions Town that fulfill economic feasibility, safety, social acceptability requirements disposal. findings are relevant governmental decision-making policy framework implementation.
